Grandma Maria Luisa's Baby Room
This is a project linked to the Casa's social department that meets requests for clothes, blankets, shoes, towels, sheets, toys, diapers and hygiene products for newborns up to 3 years old. The layette is prepared with love and care by volunteers who wash and iron the clothes and accessories received from donations from the community, along with hygiene items for babies. These kits are given to future mothers who do not have the financial means to buy their children's first clothes.
The group serves around 150 families per year, and during the flooding period in the state, it met the great demand of the municipality's population.
We deliver complete layette sets to pregnant women in situations of social vulnerability, and we have the collaboration of knitters and seamstresses who make clothes, socks, blankets, sheets, pillowcases and many other wonderful items for little ones.
